What I was told by a friend in the field of sports medicine, he is one of the best in his field here in New Zealand he said firmly strap them up( but not to tight )when you go for a run do not run on hard surfaces e.g road or running track, run on a much kinder surface like grass, then after your run spend some time in a heated pool keep moving your legs for about 15 to 20 minutes when you have done all that just go home have a shower dry yourself properly then rub tiger balm or something like that , that burns and then just put your feet up and don't do anything that would hurt for the rest of the night good luck I hope this helps, if not go to your GP.Cheers Phil.

The best thing you can do is rest right now. I would see your doctor and see what he has to say as well.
