You should read "The Blood Pressure Solution" (also available in electronic format, watch the video presentation here: http://www.fixbloodpressure.com ) It's a very comprehensive step-by-step book that walks you through the natural remedies of high blood pressure. It provides you with a lot of information on what foods to eat, how you can acquire and prepare these foods, how you can change your lifestyle for the better, how to eliminate the toxins from your body, how to reduce stress, how you can check your blood pressure level the correct way etc.

The book is amazing in that it not only lowers your blood pressure without the help of medications; it also aids you in having a life that is healthy, happier, and less stressful. This book chanced my life.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Not Good ! Is this a single reading of your blood pressure ?
Had You just run a marathon ?
If this is persistant You should be consulting with a professional but that doesn't preclude a herbalist or a Homeopath..........In spite of the many varied and powerful medications that are thrown at hypertension, nationally, our health care system has failed to meet the standards established by the W.H.O. (World Health Organization) for control of high blood pressure.(only 50%).
Reducing salt intake is a definite plus [canned veggies, preserved meats, soups, ( consult labels for Sodium content)]
CoQ-10 has shown positive but limited benefit in a V.A. study(but can't hurt).Weight reduction will benefit your general health in addition to hypertension. Many, many "supplements" can help reduce high cholesterol if atherosclerosis is contributing to an elevated blood pressure (IE Niacin)
Bottom line...........many causes and contributing factors so see an expert that demonstrates effectiveness in addressing Your problem. A single "supplement" , in itself, is not likely to help a great deal.

Absolutely no supplements, especially potassium.
Arrange a medical consultation, so that your doctor can put you on medication to lower your blood pressure, and follow a healthy eating and exercise plan that can be monitored by your doctor for your progress.
In some cases following the plan can lower the pressure, and the medication could be reduced. Good Luck

There is no multiple supplement that will lower your BP enough. You're in the danger zone. Call your doctor and make an appointment as soon as possible. Cut all salt from your diet. Don't eat any canned foods or frozen dinners; most are packed with too much salt. Make sure you're getting enough potassium, calcium, and drinking plenty of plain water. You are at very high risk for stroke.

Your Blood Pressure is very high. Herbal medicines and supplements for high BP can take months to work. I suggest that you start with conventional BP meds ASAP then when it is under control you can consult a Naturopathic Physician about starting a comprehensive Natural BP control program. DO NOT try to treat high BP by yourself.

Forget about supplements. Eating properly is a great help along with lowering your salt intake. But seeing a doctor when dealing with high blood pressure if the best thing to do. Stroke is the leading result of hypertension. I take care of patients who have had strokes and trust me, you do not want that to happen to you.

Eat lots of veggies and fruits with a class of red wine. Daily, I take Centrum-Silver, Fish Oil with Omega-3 and an extra B6, B12, and E with lots of water. When your blood pressure is 179 over 98, drink a can of "red bull" the vitamin B's and supplementals in that drink will lower your blood pressure with lots of water. These vitamins help my stress, but for profession natural remedies for high blood pressure, mental/emotional stress; various nutritional deficiencies/Candida, See www.naturalcures.com.

Amino acid GABA might help. Additionally, Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), exercize, eating fish, garlic, the herb hawthorn, magnesium gluconate, potassium rich foods and drinking plenty of water have all been associated with lowering blood pressure. Unfortunately all of the foregoing does not come in a convenient little tablet.
