I want to make a PaPeR BaG ALTeReD BooK. How do you make the edges of the book pages look aged and do you ink the inside creases? Is there a website that explains the makings of a paper bag book? Thanks

Here's a site on how to make a paper bag book...

And here's a site specifically for paper bag books. There are some cute ones!

There's something called "distressed ink" that you can buy for the aged look, but I think you can make the edges of the book look old with some tea... I saw it on the DIY channel, but I'm not exactly sure about the technique... I'll have to search for it, but I'll get back to you... here's the link for the distressed ink, it's on the middle of the page: http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=shopping&u=38659

Here's a link to an article on DIY about giving paper a vintage look with tea: http://216.109.125.130/search/cache?p=scrapbook+aged+edges+tea&ei=UTF-8&fr=slv8-msgr&x=wrt&u=www.diynetwork.com/diy/cr_scrapbooking/article/0%2C2025%2CDIY_13776_3639278%2C00.html&w=scrapbook+aged+edges+edge+tea&d=Akl3oRIeOWOy&icp=1&.intl=us

if u want, you can bake the paper for a short time to make it looked aged. and to make it look ancient, write in it w/ a calligraphy pen.
