I am 20, in very good shape and very athletic. I am a college student, last year I was pretty horny having hook ups every so often and when I wasn’t I was Masturbating everyday sometimes even twice a day. But this year sex, porn, girls are of no interest to me, I really don’t care and don’t want to have sex or even masturbate any more, I have no problem getting an erection, sometimes I will just masturbate to try to remind my self that I should. I usually drink on the weekends and have smoke in the past but I no longer do. This really sucks I just want to be like I was, has anyone heard of a guy that isn’t strait or gay just bah not interested in either sexually?

A couple of things may be happening. You are a student, and you may be under a lot of stress. Stress is a libido killer. Maybe your previous smoking has had an effect; if so, you should get back to normal after a few months.

But probably the main thing is that the wild hormone swings of puberty are behind you. Adolescent boys are constantly horny; mature men usually associate sexual desire with a specific woman once the raging hormones settle down. So if you get into a real relationship -- not a hookup -- with someone you care a lot about, you will eventually want to have sex with her. It may surprise you how good sex is in the context of a mature relationship -- not on the first or second date or even necessarily in the first couple of months, but when you both are truly ready.

There is no big rush. Lots of guys go weeks or months without having sex, and that's harmless. Don't try to force yourself to have desires that just are not there.

It is, of course, possible that you just have a low sex drive. Some men have very little interest in sex their whole lives and still are happy, productive people. If you are worried, see your doctor and ask to have your hormone levels checked. But chances are that when you meet the right person, your hormones will be just fine. Probably all that's happened is that you are finally finished with adolescence.
