There are women some strangers that are in abusive relationships, it could be your next door neighbor. You hear the yelling going on all the time, but you try to ignore it. Would that be because you thought it was none of your business? Suppose there were kids involved, would you still keep to yourself? Women rich, poor, all different ethnicities and cultures suffer under the cruel hand of an abusive mate. Someone needs to get involved.

this reminds me of a primetime special "what would you do"special where they had a white male and a black male abuse girlsfriends verbally and physically (actors). the people mostly stopped and defended the girl with the white boyfriend. they told the black man to take the fight somewhere else/. now thats messed up. finally after about 15 black and whites passed silently, a white lady told the black male to stop abusng, and walked his g.f. away. then she called the police. primetime corespondence told her it was just fake scenerio and how people reacted to it.

if i knew someone in a public abuse or private abuse situation, i would curse at them (involuntarilty) and then call the cops. i would tell my freind or family to escape the realms of the predator and stop being the prey of false love.
i wud prolly ask my family to take in an adult or kid with these issues.
abuse still goes on. but people who are abused must seek help before "salt is put on wounds"
they can be a little naive to think "everything is allright" thats when ya gota throw water on the face...
tears of sadness can cleanse the past, as the vaseline heals the cuts of yesterday.
* i think more shelters shud be opened. i wud probly start a petition or have someone influential help me as i get older.( our taxes shud go to that not war! ebnough violence allready)

like mary j blidge messages " runaway love"
"when doves cry"
*even those that are mentally and verbally abused use REVERSE PHYCOLOGY. on the people who are talking that way 2 you.

-peace is so farrrrr...away.

yea, someone does need to get involved, like the woman that is getting abused

it is funny that when cops come out to a domestic violence incident and the woman is all beat up and the cops try to take the guy away the woman is there to defend the very man that beat her in the first place

i am not even a cop, so why the hell should i get involved, the most i can do is call the cops and most likely nothing will get resolved

the best i can say is if it would be my daughter then i go and kill the guy and the problem is solved

if it is my mom then the same thing

if it is my neighbors then i leave it alone unless it is in the middle of the night and is disturbing me, then i go knock on their door and tell them to chill out for the night or i'll beat the mess out of both of them because i really don't care and i want to sleep

and thats it, if a person is getting abused then they should leave, its not my job to intervene on their behalf unless they specifically ask me for the help, i am tired of being a hero, the hours suck and the pay is horrible

If I truly believe someone is being abused I call the cops because My mom was abused and my best friend was abused and I know what it did to them.

step in---if only to call the cops. but if its a friend or loved one step in and try to get them out of that situation--but remember they will only take hlep if they want out. i had a friend with 2 kids and her bf used to verbally, mentally, and physically abuse her, i constantly took her and the kids out and yet she always went back--i lost one of my best friends--she no longer talks to me because she thinks i was wrong to butt in. but whatever you do --DO NOT JUST SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING!!!
