You see super heroes everyday. Although they don't usually wear capes and flashy outfits, they are real just the same. The men and women fighting and dying for our freedoms over seas are an excellent example. They put their wants and desires aside, to insure that we are safe. Not to mention putting their lives in danger.
What about parents? They give up their wants and desires to make sure their children have all of the necessities, and, the not necessary. They do this out of love and compassion, with hopes of their children having a better life.
Remember 9/11? The site of 9/11 was covered with people searching, helping, pulling those in need to safety, and doing this without any thought to their own safety and well being. Many lost their lives unselfishly doing so.
Definitely, and without a doubt,.........THERE ARE REALLY SUPER HEROES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

technically, there are heroes. but if you mean those with extrodinary powers, like heat vision, and flying, no. but the closest power we could possibly get is super strength or a super intellect, both through hard work and genes. i suppose radiation might affect someone five generations later..
