They both reproduce using Mitosis. The cells split apart and make identical cells just like the parent's. Each of these 2 cells are called daughter cells.

1. Their DNA must be copied and divided evenly.
2. One original cell becomes two daughter cells.
3. The daughter cells are clones - identical to each other and to the original parent cell which doesn't exist separately any more.
