I am so confused, even after looking at some of the resolved questions here and researching the internet a bit. My eyes are blue, leaning towards a blue-grey. My skin has this perpetual redness towards it, especially in the cheeks. I am fair skinned, with what I think is slight yellow undertones. I have blue veins on the underside of my wrist. I look bad in pretty much all pinks and reds. Pale colors don't look very nice either. I look good in browns, dark greens, navy blue, black. I was born with blonde hair that darkened as I got older. I could never pull off blonde hair now though. I think I look about the same in both silver and gold jewelry. I'd appreciate any help I can get, thanks.

Read a better book called "Color me Beautiful'. You are an Autumn in this book. It will show you all the colors that accentuate your fair skin and your gorgeous red hair. It is less confusing that warm and cool.

your department store (one that have free makup pros) will decide that.

Most have some type of application that turns a certain color depending on your skin type.

however, most Italian born women have blue/green undertones, (winter colors) as most also dark haird women.

most lighter toned/haired women are pink/yellow colors (summer)

find that out and then you can get the right makeup

do you have olive complexion (green undertones) I think you may be blue or green.

hold up those colors next to you and see if the shade makes your color look better or worse

Based on your description of yourself, you've basically described my daughter. I find very pale colors do not work for her, BUT bright colors pinks, oranges, deep yellows, some bright greens, including the colors you described work against her skin tone; and I find they really bring out her grey-blue eyes (trust me, you'll love them on you - don't be ssskkkurrrred...). And her hair has darkened some, but I bet w/ some great blonde hi-lites (get a professional to do it) you would look great.

She's too young for makeup, but I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional at a MAC store (or counter), or PurMinerals (not sure where your located, but ULTA carries their products) if your looking for a color to enhance your natural beauty.

Can't wait for the update.. God Bless..

Eye color has nothing to do with it, nor does hair color. What you would have to do is this:

Do you look better in beige or white? If it's beige, you're warm. If it's white, you're cool.

I have olive skin with a warm undertone, but I also have the blue veins. I wouldn't go by that at all, it's BS.

Go directly to your nearest Prescriptives cosmetics counter, and ask for a COLORPRINT. They will find your skin's undertone and explain which colors look natural, which look dramatic, and which would be good for a professional look. The 'seasons' method is based upon your skin's undertone and how color looks on you. Empower yourself and forget about the season!

COOL TONES
use only yellow tone makeup to hide the red
reds, pinks & pale colours will make you look
like death warmed up
stay with earth tones mid-dark brown, green, rust etc
gold jewellery with your colouring will look more classy

it really is depending on the undertone of your dermis - seem on the bottom of your arm. in case your veins seem bluish you're cool toned, in the journey that they seem greenish you're warmth toned.
