Are funerals held on saturdays or sundays?

Funerals are often held on Saturday but very rarely on Sunday. Many cemeteries will not do burials on Sunday and if they do they will charge about 3-times the normal rate.
Visitations are often on Sunday though because funeral homes do not charge extra for Sunday.

Yes. I have been to funerals on all days of the week. I think Sunday is less-common, but I went to a Sunday afternoon funeral last year.
