Everytime my computer starts the C: drive opens up minimized next to my start menu?

Everytime my computer starts the C: drive opens up minimized next to my start menu. I have ran a virus scan over and over and many different types. I do not know what to do or if something is wrong? any ideas?

Check what is in your Start-Up folder in the programs menu.

Also try Start > Run > msconfig (enter) and check the Start up Tab.
