Cheap is a relative term.....It depends on your budget...You can get $100 laptops on eBay, but it will crawl. Compaq is decent, You can try DELL, Toshiba is decent, there is the new Everex Brand I saw at Wal-Mart

Any cheap laptop works as long is brand new and has a 1 year guaranty

Probably mine. I got it used at a computer repair shop. It's from an old police car. It's kinda slow but only cost $100. So try looking at small computer repair shops. You may find a good deal.
