Roughly how long would a letter from Seattle to New Jersey take?

I'm afraid a letter may have been lost, but I wanted to see at what point I should be worried. A very rough estimate in days is fine.

Depending upon weekends when mail is not delivered Sundays, or very bad weather in either location I would guess approximately 3-4 days but certainly not more than a full 7 days for a regular size letter. Check out USPS.com website and see if they have your answer.

I think in general a letter sent First Class will make it in 2-3 from anywhere to anywhere in the continental U.S.
