I would honestly make $600 from all of it, and probably more. I feel greedy now, because I have given tons away before, but this time I just want a little cash back for all the money this stuff has cost me. I have a family I'm raising. So ... yard sale or just give it away ... P.S. It's clutter everywhere and I need my sanity!

At this particular point it seems the best thing for you is to just give it away. Think of it like this...the time you SPEND sorting, tagging, making signs, manning the yard sale...is this time worth more than $600 or less? If the time spent is more than $600...it's certainly not worth it. Think of it this way...if your boss was paying you to do this, would your paycheck be more or less than the expected $600??? Your time is precious and valuable and it's worth way more than that.

Have you ever seen the show Clean Sweep? I find it's really motivational for this kind-of issue. I find there are garage sale people, people who love having them and are great at it and don't mind spending two days organizing and pricing and then having the actual sale, and people like myself who would much rather load the stuff into my car and take it to goodwill. It just depends on whether it's ultimately worth your time.

EBAY baby! Sell it there, on Craigslist and in the local paper. Yard sales are bunk. You get $.50 for something that cost you $50.

freecycle.org

You can find people in your neighborhood in freecycle asking for many things..plus you can post your items as well..

Try the yard sale first and whatever is left over give away.
