Ive been reading alot of people stating African Americans arent well liked in Africa. I'll be going to Ghana this summer and after reading some post im a little concerned. And if your AA and been to Africa how was your experience with the natives?

This experience goes back over 29 years. I was working at the Nigerian Embassy and an African American came in to get a re-entry visa. He still had recently stitched wounds on his face. He had been beaten up during a raid on an oil company site in Nigeria. I suppose it's because they behave differently and it's OK for whites to have more money but not for blacks.

That depends on where you go. You will be cool in Ghana because there are a lot of Africans Americans there. Many have moved there.

Yes, sort of. My dad is from the Ivory Coast and he is embarrassed of blacks in America. I don't know why.
