Why do people rate a perfectly good answer with a "thumbs down?". What's up with that?

Maybe it wasn't so good. but you have 17 percent best answers don't take one dumb thumbs down to heart.

Some people just like to get on here and give everyone a thumbs down. It means nothing. I've twice gotten best answer because I got the most thumbs down! Honest! So, it's nothing to worry about.
