What's a best pet for a condo? (except for cats and dogs)

Fish is the simplest, then a cat and if that don't suit you then I would get a bird(very messy) Cats enjoy your company but do quite well on their own while you are working, plus cats have a calming effect if you get stressed, but I still enjoy watching my fish and I go to sleep faster with my cuddly cat and by watching my fish! Think before you get a puppy or a dog to make sure you check out the breed and find out all you can before making that choice.

Why not a cat? I think they are the best honestly. A bird would probably be second best, but a small one cuz the big ones can get noisy and your neighbors may be annoyed with that. Good luck.

i love pets and would love to have the space for a dog but i live in an apartment and have found that it's great having the company of my budgie and now my new hammy so they're sweet to have around and don't require to much space just some attention.

Just about any type of lizard, fish, small animals,(gerbils, hamsters), not hermit crabs(ALL for the pet trade are taken from the wild). I wouldn't suggest any snakes or lizards that can get large. Good Luck!!

I vote for a Persian Cat they are like angels.
If you don't like cats definitely you need a Gold Fish.

Small birds like African or Zebra finches, or lovebirds are nice. You can hear them, they sound alerts if anything unexpected happens, and they don't bug the neighbors (unlike large parrots and other birds).

A Rat! They are the greatest pets. They are super clean, cheap, dont stink, and would love to keep you company!A rat will be your best friend if you let her.

Fishes, probably. Like guppies and such. They are small and does not take up too much space, they're wonderful and don't cost too much money too. If I were you, I'd buy 2 guppies and let them breed.

if you want one to cuddle with you, a cat because they don'y need much space or maintenance.
