i think that that would one will work, if you have an additional slot, which you should have, then you just need to connect it and it is really simple, read the instructions for all the details, if you are replacing the hard drive you will need to copy everything over, i would get drive image software for that. personally i would just add the drive into an empty slot.

of course u can get a 400GB and run it. I would advise to use this new hard disk as an external so at least if something within the PC it wont affect the hard disk. And yes u can make partitions with a 400GB. I bought a 750GB and i made 4 partitions with it. Cheers!

If I were you I'd add the additional HD to your system...there should be another slot in your case open for it & cables from your Powersupply...set it as a master slave (set the jumpers on the back of the HD) and use it to store all your programs and music or whatever and keep your operating system on the smaller HD....less fragmentation that way...
Just a thought...that's what I did...

It should work. Ask the people at your local Best Buy to make sure. Also, be sure you know how to install it. It can be tricky and its very delicate. Good luck!

That will work fine. However you can only make partitions of 137GB, or less.
