It's an old song. Probably from 60s or 70s. The melody is so beautiful.

Except for several isolated words the only phrase I remember is "I see the wonder in your blue eyes". There's a chorus containing "baby". May be "baby I really love you" or something like that. There's the word"obligation" somewhere. -

Sung by a male. You know what it is?Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.

I know I am pretty vague, but may be you would be able to help me.

I'm not sure, but maybe this is it:

Lobo - I’d love you to want me

Lyrics:

When I saw you standing there.
About fell off my chair
And when you moved your mouth to speak
I felt the blood go to my feet
Now it took time for me to know
What you tried so not to show
Something in m soul just cried
I see the warmth in your blue eyes

Baby, I’d love you to want me
The way that I want you
The way that it should be

Baby, you’d love me to want me
The way that I want to
If you’d only let it be.

I'm guessing you might be refering to " I'd Love You to Want Me ", by Lobo

When I saw you standing there
I about fell off my chair
When you moved your mouth to speak
I felt the blood go to my feet

Now it took time for me to know
What you tried so not to show
Something in my soul just cried
I see the want in your blue eyes

Chorus :
Baby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you
The way that it should be
Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to
If you'd only let it be

You told yourself years ago
You'd never let your feelings show
The obligation that you made
For the title that they gave
