Doesn't Anthony Kiedis sound like Neil Young?

Track 1/ disc 2 : Desecration smile of Stadium Arcadium Kiedis sounds identical to neil young in parts of it.

i guess so, in the same way that poe and pj harvey sound like chrissy hynde.

but the difference is...those women sound alike pretty much all of the time (but this is not to say that people can't identify them from one another because their voices are all unique). kiedis's voice is effected during that song, like he was trying to sound a certain way which is TOTALLY cool, i like it, but he doesn't sound like that all the time.
