Oleg Tverdovsky is really hated by the Ducks fan. He was a Duck, got traded to Phoenix and then talked a whole lot of smack and then the Ducks smoked them like 6 to 1 the next time the Coyotes and Ducks played. Also during that game, Oleg's car was stolen and found in Phoenix with "Phoenix Sucks" spray painted on it parked in the parking lot where the Coyotes play. Now that is hatred!

I can't stand alot of guys. I am not a big fan of Spezza actually. Always hated Claude Lemeiux-Barnaby-Avery-Tucker. Flyer fan BTW. Hated Pat Roy too.
As far as the 15 year contract, at first I LOL too BUT in hindsight it might be one of the more astute moves in recent history. Dipietro is starting to look like a big time goalie, Garth Snow (whom is another one I hate coincidentally) as a former goalie probably recognized this and who will be LOL if he (I think he will) is a top 5 goalie in the NHL in 5 years (probably less) and is making 4 million a year while the other top goalies in the league in 5 years will be making up around 7 or 8 million?? The only reasonable answer is that when guys outperform their contract, they want to re-negotiate for more or that when he is late 30's he will be overpaid but if he sucks he will have retired by then and back-ups will be making 4 million in 15 years anyway.
Heck, I wouldn't LOL if I were you because I already know of a back-up making that much. His name is Martin Gerber.

There's a few I can think of right now.
Chris Pronger by the city of Edmonton. After begging to leave he should be hated there.
Chris Simon by the New York Rangers. That hit was brutal.
Todd Bertuzzi by the Colorado Avalanche. Punch on Steve Moore.
and of course Sean Avery by every single team in the league.

Sean Avery (for me) but I think most fans (all over the NHL) hate Todd Bertuzzi. If Tie Domi were still in the league, he'd be #1-A...Bertuzzi is definitely hated though, and never will be forgiven for the cheap shot he took to that guy Moore. I guess Chris Simon is racing up the charts as well after that hit on Hollweg.

Avery is pretty hated, but I have not seen a response from a crowd so loud of a boo when someone has the puck then when Brooks Orpik of the pens is holding onto the puck against the canes.
People in carolina hate Orpik.
Also, as mentioned the claude/av's rivalry was pretty good too.

Hmm I'm going back a few years and I'm guessing it would have to be Scott Stevens in Philly for taking Eric Lindross's head off during the Eastern Conference finals in '03 Me personally it's Jagr, simply because he's a Ranger, and god did he look like an idiot with his jersey tucked into his pads.

Todd Bertuzzi by Colorado fans. If it wasn't bad enough that he broke the neck of Steve Moore by a cheap shot, now he is on the Red Wing's roster. In the first game after his suspension in Colorado, he was booed every time he stepped on the ice and was booed more when he touched the puck.

Chris Pronger ... Edmonton. Yashin refused to play because of money, this guy just refused to play for that city.

Sean Avery, I don't think the city hates him because only a handful of Chicagoans follow hockey because the Hawks are God awful. I hate him though. A huge D-bag.

Chris Chelios is a fan favorite to hate. Matt Cooke also has a way of getting under players skin.
