becasue they support iran in past in various area and especially is in weapon. but now it look like they change their head again to the country where they suppose to support in critical time like this.

Russia is like the most notorious export country in the world's history.

It signed many contracts with Saddam, selling it everything from tanks to medium range missiles, capable of being filled with chemical, biological, or nuclear warheads.

It signed many illegal oil smuggling contracts with Saddam, violating Iraq's sanctions in the 90's - one called the Oil-For-Food Program, in which Russia made millions of dollars from ..along with kickbacks from Saddam..
It came to be known as the 'Oil For Food scam' and though Russia was not the only country who dealt with Saddam, it was a big reason why Saddam was able to get ahold of over 11 billion dollars after 1997, thus allowing him to restart his nuclear campaign after UN sanctions nearly strangled Iraq's economy in 1996.

It is currently selling weaponry and artillery (tanks, helicopters, etc.) to Venezuala. Money Venezuala is getting from American oil revenues (ie. Citgo..). Who knows what else, from Russia's recent past and reluctance to change.. im sure they are selling more to Venezuala then they are accounting for.

Russia has and is providing Iran with the same things Russia provided Saddam.. only Saddam stopped. America forgot to take out the country Iraq was having an arm's race with.. Now, if you know your history.. you know Russia supported Iran in the Iran Afghanistan war.. so why would they help Iraq? Because money is money, and Russia doesn't care about peoples lives. They poison people like theres no tommorow.

sanctions didn't stop Russia from making contracts with Saddam, and it isn't going to stop Russia from making contracts with Iran.

So, you might as well be like.. "Yea, sure set sanctions on Iran!" It doesnt hurt you economically... and maybe you can use it to brainwash people into thinking you're the good guys.

Russia is just a responsible superpower supporting the execution of UN resolutions.
