Evernight is a turn-based strategy game set in a fantastical world of armies, monsters, and supernatural warfare. no, this game is NOT better than Risk.

Different type of game, so it's hard to comment on whether one is better than another. I don't know anything about Evernight, but I do know that Risk is a VERY basic wargame; there are hundreds of others. (Not to mention quite a few versions of Risk with extra rules) You can read about thousands of boardgames at boardgamegeek.com

i'd say it's definitely better than risk from your description of the game. i might as well go try it!
