Don't mess with the USA if you are planning us any harm!

We may be 'creatures of comfort', but we don't care to get uncomfortable to protect our homes, families and friends!

We can be formidable enemies, but we would prefer to be
friends!

We are allowed to protest or to approve....yet if you can
remember back to September 11, 2001...The Red, White
and Blue sold out of all stores and flew high and mighty
on all our cars, trucks, porches and businesses ..
.suddenly, we were truly UNITED and it showed!

What do I think of the US? Do you need to ask?

I LOVE the USA!
Here we have more influence on our government than in any other country in the world. The US truely is a melting pot of people. It is wonderful to go about my day and see people from so many different cultures. I gives us an unparalled richness of experience. There are so many restaurants from all over the world I could eat dinner from a different culture every night for a long, long time. We get to see clothing from all over, too. Personal expression is encouraged here. Free speech is a hotly protected right. Individuals can become involved in politics, lobbying politicians to pass bills, making decisions about schools, deciding to save lands for environmental reasons. Or we can do nothing at all. It's all up to us.

1) the best country in the world to live in at any time.

2) we have the best system of government to protect our rights as people, we have one of the most beautiful countries on earth , with many natural resources . we have the right to critisise our government, and to vote our leaders in and out, instead of being told who we will follow. we are allowed to practice whatever religion, creed or belief structure we choose, so long as it violates none of our laws. we are encouraged to be individuals, something almost no other place on earth can claim. so long as our country isn't in desperate need , we are not conscripted into her service, but are rather given the choice to serve, and rewarded for it when it is given.

3) our nation was made this way by great men and women who knew what it would take to do what they did, and when they were forced to pay the cost for their actions, they did so with pride. out of all the people who signed the declaration of independance, many did not survive the war it started. of those that did, several lost family, homes, and freedom for their country. during the civil rights movement, the leaders of the movement knew that if they were caught , it meant jail time, abuse ,or worse death. yet they also knew that they needed to act, so they did what had to be done with dignety. mant of them were jailed in the best clothing they had, sadly, more than a few were buried in the same.
we hold the enheritence of our fathers, and are stewards for the generations to come. hopefully, we will look back on what our forbearers did and suffered, and remember how we came to be such a great nation, and continue in their footsteps.
