Of course it would. It would be a great benefit to the ozone layer. I live about half a mile away from my job - I walked there for over a year - but I live in Florida, and it was way to hot to continue... But it would definitely help out the earth a great deal by minimizing the toxins and exhaust dispensed into the air. Good question!

Yes it would. Personally, I work midnights and I have bad knees, and that highway is really creepy, so I would drive anyway. But what does make a difference, the 3 of us carpool. That makes a difference in sharing the ride.
