When can I take out my belly button ring?

How long before I can take my belly button ring out after I get it pierced? I just got it done. Isn't it 6-8 weeks?

i had to wait 3 months to take out mine and i could only take showers for 8 weeks no bathes and couldnt swim for 2 months. but that was me and it turned out good. it might be different for you though i dont know why

Ask your piercer for their recommendation. I did not take mine out for about 6 months, as it took mine a long time to completely heal.
