No...even though he is putting up numbers like avg 20ppg, 11apg, he does not play a lick of defense and therefore doesn't belong in the same sentence as wilt, russel and jordan. And besides those guys won a championship in the years they won the MVPs, steve nash has done it twice and still doesn't have a ring to show for it.

He has great, talented teammates like Shawn Marion and Amare (41pts last night and didn't miss a shot until the 2nd overtime) and he has a great supporting cast.

Steve Nash is the difference between making the Phoenix suns a good team and an elite team.

Not this year he won 1 game in dallas and now he's the MVP????????
NOPE Dirk will be only cause he's a greta 7 foot player who was guarding Steve Nash
What other 7 footer (other than J.Howard) can guard Nash in a 2OT game.

Dirk is the best player this season but nash really showed why he's the mvp the last game against the mavs.

Oh yes he will!!!

Dirk is not even the MVP on his team coz without him they are deep and can still win..

But Nash is... just look at the suns record while he was out.. and he is clutch

All the doubters out there, search your souls, you know he is MVP

i think he will.. dirk is not a versatile player, nash is.. they win games by just having 10+ assists from nash with or WITHOUT points from nash hope you guys look at the boxscore each games.. while dirk when he is defended well most of the time they lose. nash can be stopped producing points but not assists. nash promotes team play and a good team leader

If he does it wont be this year. I dont see how anyone could not vote for Dirk. If I had a vote it would be The Big Ticket, but thats just 'cause I'm Minnesota to the core. But from an objective standpoint, wich is the way its supposed to be, Dirk is the logical choice. They got an outside chance to win 70.

He's worthy enough but I think Dirk gets it this year. Especially if the Mavs win 70.

If I were the judge, ABSOLUTELY. He proved his medal in last nights game versus the Mavs. Nash is simply the best.
