I need to make a slide show for my friends graduation and i have to put it on a cd and i have no idea how.

use ms powerpoint for your presentation, make sure you test your work till you're happy with the result, have all the sounds & animations file saved in your cd,

If you want to make a slideshow, you need a software for it first. I suggest Powerpoint, that is really cool. then you just insert pictures in the slides and add whatever you need to it.
To copy it onto CD, first save the file to your computer (don't forget where it is!).then insert the CD. Next, go to "save as" and a box should pop up. At the top of the pop-up box there should be a little bar (just like the adress box on the internet.) you find "Local Disk ( C: )" and click on it. Then your inserted CD should show up (as in the computer should know it is there) and you click on that . Click "save" at the bottom of the pop-up box. Then it should be saved!

The easiest way is with PowerPoint. Attach your pictures and or words to the slides and run the presentation. You can even "attach" music to the presentation. I do it every week.
