i want to be able to use a tampon because im in Track and it is hard to run while using a pad

Yes, you could break it playing sports, riding a bike or even horse back riding. You wouldn't want to intentionally break it though. Just wait until the right time and it will happen.

If you have a typical hymen it will stretch enough to let a tampon pass no problem, especially if you use a slim tampon like tampax satin teens, they are designed for girls with hymens. If you have a thick hymen it can be surgically removed like others have said, and some girls are born without hymens or barely any kind of a hymen at all. Have you looked to see if you even have one or felt how hard it is? I broke mine with my fingers when I was 12, but I stretched it over time so when it did go it barely even hurt at all. It mostly just stung that night and the next day. If you can't get a tampon in with your hymen(chances are about 90% that you can) I'd have to say that tampons are worth breaking your hymen for. They are 100 times better than pads!

Sunshine...There is a surgical procedure...(Yes, I was lucky enough to need it) called a hymenectomy. When I was a teenager, I couldn't get tampons to work. I just thought I was a dork and didn't have the guts to do it. But...after my first pelvic exam, I found out that I had issues that needed to be surgically corrected. A hymenectomy is required when the hymen tissue becomes thick and cannot be broken via normal methods. Hope this is not your circumstance...but it was mine.

SHE WANTS TO BREAK IT CUZ OF TRACJ DUMBOS! lol well, i have that problem too, not that im in track, but that i want to brake it, i dunno why, but ya, thats the same reason i dont use tampons becuzim scared that it will break and it will hurt! i have never used tampon and im too scared to becuz of that reason. well anyways, as that girl said up there , u can break it while playing sports... but dude liek whats up wih that! u can only DO THAT if u fall off the bike hard! ihope that helped... heehee. lol BYE!

Uhh....no...there isn't anyway you can break it with out sticking something in side you. Why would you want to break it so early? Why not wait for it to be broken when you're sharing your love with someone else you love?
