why do people insist on judging me. i'm 22 and happily married. although i do weigh a significant amount of weight, i guess i see myself as different from others. in the past week, i have been put down more then in the 22 years of my life. people insist on commenting on my weight and i don't understand why. i am trying to lose weight and i have lose a little more then 6 pounds in a month and managed to keep it that way and not going up at all. i'm a nice person, i don't put others down, i don't make mean comments, i keep to myself when nessacary. so why are people insistant on putting me down? is it to make themselves feel beter?

i didn't sleep around to get to him, he was my first partner and i had a crush on him for 3 years prior. thats when we started dating and fell in love. i don't wear clothes that are inapproprate, i'm very concerned about dressing properly for my weight. i feel to many woman think they are skinny and they aren't at all and you can see flab all over. i would be the last person to dress like that.

It's still "ok" to make fun of fat people, so people either do because they're just plain mean or because they want to feel better about themselves. I understand how you feel, believe me.

It could just be concern for your health. I had an aunt that weight about 400 lbs her whole life. She did eat alot but she was healthy her whole life and lived into her 70s. (She died last year of lung cancer and never smoked a cigarette in her life) Her weight never mattered to any of us. We loved her just like she was. I don't know your circumstances but depending on who these people are there is a good possibility they believe they are helping you. Make it clear to them that you are comfortable with the way you look and they need to change their attitude or just keep their thoughts to themselves because they make you feel bad. I'm sure you could pick out bad attributes in each of the people who put you down but don't go that route. Love them like they are and hopefully they will repay the favor.

Some people are under the delusion that their opinions are useful and some people are just stupid and mean.

I hope you can learn to not let them get to you. Beauty is more than weight and age, and a person's worth has nothing to do with their dress size.

Ignore them. Love yourself and always remember "misery loves company" and " what goes around comes around" so they will get whats coming to them. If you are happy the way you are dont change for anyone. If you are going to lose weight it should be to be healthier not to look the way someone wants you to look. It starts with you and what you want.

why are you so concerned about what other people think?

if you didn't put yourself up, they wouldn't put you down. If you really want to lose weight, do it. If not, then why talk about it?

just go run around and eat less, then you'll feel better. It's all about motivation

it could be for a few reasons. you might be a push over, you might be dressing inapropiately for your size, or the third reason is the one you gave, people want to put u down to feel better. being fat is the last thing that people dont have to be pc about.
