I've been to a lot of cities on my own...but never with anyone else. I would like some independent input here. She doesn't get out of her area much, so I want to make sure it is a memory of a lifetime.

I suggest:
* Chicago (Magnificent Mile, the lakefront, museums, State Street, good food)
* San Francisco-Oakland (ferry rides, can walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, trolleys, Jack London Square, wineries)
* Miami (nightlife, beaches, the food).

If you love live music and the club scene, Austin, TX is a great place to visit. It's a college town, so there's a ton of cool young people to meet.
