I HAVE THE TOEFL IN MAY i am scared!!!! would you please help me...?

Hello, everyone, well let me start by saying I am studying English, so I am not bad at it, but I have the TOEFL in may, and I just feel sooo nervous, has someone here done it? when? how was the experience? please I need all the help I can get, I live in Venezuela, and over here I really can't practice much my speaking skills, but every year I go to THE US, and I am pretty good over there... still if you know thinks that could help me, and my english, so I can do well for the test please tell me.... THANK YOU!!!

the best way to do well on any exam is to practice the way the exam will be given. you must know everything about the exam so that when you take it, you won't be so nervous. you have to practice, practice, practice!! get sample toefl exams and repeat them over and over. once your comfortable with the exam, read everyday-anything as long as you enjoy it, and watch american shows it you can. it will help you with your pronunciation and grammar. try to watch american news if you can because they speak standard english or what is considered proper english. good luck!!let me know how you do..

Te recomiendo que compres el Barron´s para preparar tu exámen, hay versiones con los cds para que practiques el listening, pues dices no tener mucha oportunidad de. Además te ayuda a familiarizarte con las versiones escrita y computarizada, cualsea que vayas a tomar.
Recuerda que la parte más importante es tu ensayo, así que repasa bien su estructura.
Si tu futuro está en Estados Unidos tienes una importante alternativa que nadie considera jamás:
haz tu G.E.D. (High School Equivalency)!
Pregunta por él en el mismo lugar donde harás el TOEFL o en el Consulado más cercano. Si tienes la oportunidad de ir constantemente a EU, ve a la Barnes & Noble y comprate la guía de estudio (es casi imposible que la consigas fuera del país).
El TOEFL lo tienes que revalidar, pero si tienes el G.E.D. tendrás estudios reconocidos por el Estado número 1 en educación de todo el mundo (Main) y no tendrás que revalidarlo, además de que entra en tu currícula como estudios reconocidos por su sistema educacional (tu proeficiencia en el idioma jamás será cuestionada o requerida de nuevo).
Tienes que estar familiarizada con el vocabulario técnico, pero para eso es la guía, de ahí en fuera el exámen es pura lectura de comprensión, aún matemáticas y ciencias.

Descansa bien el día anterior y diviértete (no mucho, duerme bien), aprecia tu experiencia y que todo te salga excelente!.
