Luckily for you, Dell laptops now come with internal wireless cards as a standard, so that is one less thing that you need to buy. In order to set up a wireless internet network in your home, you will need to have either a cable or DSL internet connection, and a wireless router. You can get the router from a store like best buy or circuit city. Follow the instructions that come with the router in order to set it up. Don't forget to put a password on your wireless router, otherwise, anyone could use it and access your homes network, such as shared files on your computer.

I hope that this helps, good luck

You need to have a wireless router. Normally you connect your cable modem to router. Also it is a good idea to get a cable to connect your computer directly to wireless router, as some setup activities require you to connect your computer to router directly using cable.
