How many of you can tell me where Oklahoma is?
I went to california recently and someone stopped me and asked me if i was from oklahoma(i had a sooner shirt on) and then they went on to ask me if we rode horses to school and live in tepees...I mean come on we are in the 21st century

Californians like to make fun of rednecks. A sooner shirt gave them something that pointed out you were from OK. Easy target. I grew up in CA and I live in OK now. When I moved here everyone asked if I went surfing on my lunch break at school. That was just as stupid. Honestly though people can be rude and mean anywhere.

Oklahoma is in the middle of the US, directly above Texas. They were mocking you and calling you a "hick" or a "red neck" (typical stereotype of the South) because of how you were dressed.
......OK, your being a little rude. You asked where Oklahoma was. So what was your question then?! You need to loose the attitude and try being nice yourself!

Oklahoma is above Texas, and it also borders Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and a small part of New Mexico.
People in California are more concerned about boob jobs, botox, and porn than geography.

well i used to live in Texas and when i moved to the north, many people asked me if we rode around on horse-drawn carriages... it was pathetic.
