DUDE!!!! Eat for god sakes!! Anorexia is bad. Walk a mile every day. Eat but more greens than sweets. By doing crunches and push ups you build muscle. Muscles weigh more than fat so weight loss takes a while. Walking + walking + good eating habits + walking = weight loss. Simple. Good luck.

Hi,

I specialize in helping people lose weight quickly and healthily and i myself lost 15kg within 2 mths via a detox.

You sound as if you have a problem with water retention. Try this:
- drink at least3 litres of water everyday
- Avoid salt
- Sleep early by 10pm every night
- Eat only fruits and veg without the salad dressings
- Continue your work outs and dun just do sit ups, pls go swimming or running 2-3 times a week for at least 20-30 min each time

I have also helped people lose a total of 500kg in the past few years via detox.

And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

If you are keen to find out more about my detox programme, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

First, contact your doctor to see if there are any specific factors to consider in your approach.
Make a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle. This includes quality food intake, regular hydration, adequate sleep at steady intervals, regular exercise, little/no alcohol, no smoking, etc.
Realize that there will be frequent, almost every day challenges to maintaining this lifestyle: friends, family, and neighbors who are not doing these things; times when you may be visiting or traveling when it will be harder to control your access to resources to support best practices; college cafeterias that may put constant less than best content within hands reach.
All of the above regimen may sound incredibly hard and unappealing. What is even harder, though, is living with the effects of not taking a sound, consistent approach: trying to get an overweight body up the stairs, struggling to pick something off the floor, watching others participate in activities that require a body that moves readily, and making room on the calendar for regular appointments to the doctor to manage diseases like diabetes.
It seems most people cannot put on the brakes intermittently once they go in a direction. The behavior tends to repeat itself. So, if this is the likelihood, best to choose a healthy pattern to repeat...I recall hearing a couple men in their 30's say on tv when interviewed, "Going from 300 (pounds) to 400 (pounds) was easy."
So, the first step is really the mental one: choosing the healthy path. Keep up the good work you have started!

you need to focus more on cardio.. no strength

First thing- don't change how much you eat (unless it is WAY WAY to much), start out by changing what you are eating. If it comes in a diet option, try it. If you are drinking 1% milk, try skim (or the next percentage down), avoid juice (liquid calories are way to easy to consume and hard to get rid of).

Second thing- Watch out for when you are eating these things, often times it is better to have smaller meals and snack throughout the day.

Third thing- NEVER EAT FAST FOOD. It is essentially a slow acting poison on your body and can lead to more health problems than you can think of.

Fourth thing- if you don't exercise, start out going for walks in the park or somehting, then bring it up to a light jog (once you are comfortable), then slowley bring up the intensity.

Fifth thing- Evaluate everything you put in your mouth, (i.e. avoiding higher fat meats like ribs, pork.. try fish instead or dear or chicken... then general meat rule is that the fewer legs it had as an animal, the better it is for you). Also, think about what goes into you ask yourself, "Should I be eating this?"

Sixth thing- You don't have to be doing all this 100% of the time, treat yourself, but recognize your priorities when it comes to it and don't let "treating yourself" get out of hand.

There's some amazing books out there that will help you out a lot. Books like Body for Life and LL Cool J's book Platinum Workout. These books are amazing. They go into detail about things to do and not to do. Eating 5 -6 small meals a day is something you should start doing. Not eating will slow down your metabolism

okay..you should really do this with your doctor and a licensed nutritionist....the push ups and the crunches are great..but they dont burn enough calories..you'll need to do some cardio exercise daily...again..before you start you should get a checkup...start with walking..go around the block.if thats too easy, increase..start w/10-15 minutes, if you can...and work your way up to 30 to 60 minutes...once that gets easier, add bike riding, swimming, soccer, anything that gets you up and moving...heck even playing frisbie will do it...get moving and watch those calories...and you should see a difference...
