i dunno about you guys in the states but over here in borneo, we do care about cleanliness. a restaurant which has a contamination will be closed directly until further notice. rats are a delicacy for us here as well as dogs, so to ask from our perspective it would be something normal, and new! we eat tigers, deer, pythons and all kinds of animals because to us it is edible. so why not? original recipe bucket with a side order of fried mice! just don't get me wrong, before it is consumed we clean it up first, remove the fur with boiling water then take out all the guts. then marinate with garlic, onions and also ginger before deep frying them. it's really delicious. you should try it some time. good luck!

I am serious when I tell you that I had a feather, fried and everything, on a piece of chicken the last time I ate there, I haven't been back, that's nasty :)

That marketing strategy was employed some years ago...
with little to no success....
The Koreans I'm told are awaiting though ...really I've been there they do do rats as a delicacy.......yuk !!
