No, don't be ridiculous. Couch K (see that's the easy way) is one of the best coaches in the sport and one of the classiest men in the business.
How many schools can say that the absolute worst season they can imagine still gets them into the NCAA tournament.

It's Krzyzewski and no it's not over. I know that a lot of people are laughing at me right now but I'm a true fan not a bandwagon member and like he always does Coach Mike Krzyzewski will have DUKE back at the top of the league next year. You can never keep a good man down. We may be down but we're never out (well we are out of the NCCA tourney) but just you wait. Besides no one expected us to do anything this yer anyway with the cast of players that we had this year.
2008 NCAA College Basketball Champions...DUKE BLUE DEVILS. just you wait. Have you not seen our class that's coming in? in case you haven't we have the #1 recruiting class for the 2007-2008 season.
But until then I'll just go jump off a bridge or something because life is not worth living right now. :(

Coach Krzyzewski may be done at Duke, simply because every team has to make a coaching change eventually to reenergize the program/organization and can only hope to get someone with half the coaching ability as Coach K. I,d be willing to bet all I have that he will get a top notch job, wether he takes a yr or two off or not, either in the ncaa or the nba.

I will throw something out on a limb- I think he should take a leave of absense next year to focus on the Olympic team for the good of his school and for the country. Tara Vanderveer did this in 1996 whule she was at Stanford and it hasn't hurt their program and the women won the gold. Yes, she did actually have games to coach and practices to run, but you have to think being the Olympic coach has hurt things at Duke- no final fours since he took the job.

Coach K is a good coach, I hate his team, but he is a good coach. Follow his coaching tree. The guy knows what he is doing, so I wont hate on him but I will continue to celebrate the loss Duke enjoyed tonight for the rest of the tournament.

I've been fortunate enough to attend three coaching clinics that Coach K held at Duke. Indeed, the learning curve was rather high, but believe me, he knows the game, and the reason he has talent is because he knows how to recruit..no easy task..I've had to do it. I think he'll be around for a while longer.

coach K will never be fired at Duke no matter how badly his teams do. he is a good coach, he won the ncaa tournament back 2 back in 91 and 92. i dont care how many stars are on your team, that his damn near impossible. this was a rebuilding year and i expected them to suck and lose to VCU. next year they will be better because i think they have 2 pretty good incoming freshmen.

Coach K gets worse and worse every year. This team had SIX f'n McDonald's All-Americans on it. For them to be this pathetic is inexcusable. McRoberts came in as a highly touted All-American, and Coach K made him hold Sheldon Williams jockstrap all last season, shattering his confidence. He should have been DOMINANT this season, and instead, he blew chunks (He had 6 turnovers and only 3 baskets in the finale against UNC).
I think having easy-going Roy Williams down the road is starting to get to him. Roy is grabbing great recruits, and his players actually ENJOY playing for him, as opposed to the Blue Devils, who always look miserable, even when they are winning.

He is very overated as a coach since he has ten all americans on his team every year! If it wasn't for the amazing talent he recruits and the ACC referees babying his team he would have nothing. He really does bite the big one!
