No, no and no! That is unacceptable. You should have a nice coordinating pair of brown shoes... or a nice dark tan, depending. You should also have a coordinating belt to complete the ensemble.

Yes! You can wear black shoes with brown/chocolate pants. Because they are both neutral colors, so they compliment each other well. Just make sure you shirt and accessories sort of match the black or brown color scheme like a black belt, black watch or black or brown socks.

Yea just make sure u wear a black belt and black accessories...also make sure ur shirt has something black and brown in it. Black, chocolate brown, and a tan shirt would b real cute with brown colored slacks and black shoes.

You CAN, but I wouldn't suggest it. People tend not to notice these things, but if you do be sure to wear a shirt that has black and brown in it or a color that goes well with both (for example, a dark red.)

Silver is always a elegant look especially for the Prom A night to remember. If you decided to pick a bold color like yellow or red.. make sure your accessories don't clash .. or make them soft.. look for soft yellows or red... but I would prefer Silver... Shines better a night!!!

Absolutely. Sometimes it just looks weird if your shoes perfectly match your trousers. I think it's better to mix it up a bit with coordinating pieces rather than look like you tried too hard to match everything.
