Why does it seem that the Mexican Mafia( and like groups) in the Southwest are touted as cultural diversity but White Supremacists are looked at with disdain? Don't get me wrong, I think both are dispicable groups but even on the news they make the MM sound like angels of mercy and the WS sound like the devils spawn. Aren't they both equally as bad?

What news reports are you seeing? The glorification of Mexican gangs is oppressive to Mexican people.
When you see movies on the subject and you hear people speaking about the movie with pride it has more to do with them being happy that for once they are represented on television/movies. Yet Mexican gang films ends up creating the illusion that all Mexicans live or deal with Mexican gangs on a daily basis. This is of course due to the limited representations of Mexicans and other so called Latinos.
Yes both groups are bad! But if you perceive that there is more disgust against white supremacists it might be because supremacists have a long, long history of violence against others. It is part of our US history. It is violence that almost tore the nation apart during the 1960s and it is a violence that the country is still trying to heal from.

Hello, but white supremacists are hate groups. Mexican mafia arent promoting hatred, perhaps violence, and that violence will for the most part be directed on like minded people, for instance thugs like themselves.
You are comparing apples to oranges.

One group is simply criminals, the other criminals with a very focus hate component. The White Supremacists are worse.
