I have two internal hard drives, a 6GB (master) and a 80GB (slave). I would like to transfer all of my data and OS (windows 2000) to the 80GB and make it the master hard drive. I need the space so I can upgrade to Vista

You can transfer the data files, but you will need to reinstall the OS, on the 80GB drive. Transfer your files, remove the 6GB drive, then set the 80GB to master.

If it really is a workstation, then you definitely won't be able to move between inner drives as laptops in person-friendly words carry one internalpersistent. the great way is precisely what you've already executed: "...a 320 gb exterior to apply to carry the assistance..." in simple terms shop the assistance on the externalpersistent and replica what you want from that onto the workstation.
