what is the best excuse to call out of work? the morning of on a Friday?

I dont like my current job and I have an interview.

Well I would say that I have explosive diarrhea which prohibits me from leaving the house.
It is awful and I
A. don't want to be embarrassed by my illness....and
B. I do not want to my fellow employees sick or uncomfortable.

Tell them you have eye problems, because you can't see yourself coming in today.

just tell them your sick. that always works what are they going to do show up at your door to double check?
