I know it was the Senate, but believe me, if Bush didn't have them all paid off, they'd do the right thing.

It's getting really bad folks. There is NO excuse for the will of the people to be ignored to such an extent. This is ridiculous.

The Bush family comes from the paradigm that considers ordinary Americans to be their farm animals. Their motto is "If God did not want them sheared, He would not have made them sheep." They have never considered taking our feelings into account, as evidenced by the election in 2000, 9/11, the invasion of Iraq, Katrina, the massive plundering of the US Treasury ( $12 billion every month for six years for their war making friends ), the selling of ports, highways, bridges to foreign countries, the abandoning of our southern border so that corporations can illegally profit from illegal cheap labor driving down American wages and ruining southern communities, The Patriot Act, gutting funds for Veterans programs, etc.,etc., etc. Anyone who believes Bush/Cheney care at all about what we think, does so at their peril. As China increasingly holds the mortgage on the US, and corporations like Halliburton/Cheney grow obscenely rich with nobid contracts paid for by your tax dollars, one would think that Americans will some get the message that these guys mean us harm! Maybe even Congress might act on our behalf and bring them up on charges.

I don't really know what your asking, but I beleive that most members of the senate vote on what they think is right when it comes to the war.

The people want to bring the troops home, we all want to bring the troops home, but I honestly beleive that the majority of voters do not want the United States to pull our troops out of Iraq before we can be sure that we will not be on the receiving end of another terrorist attack and that Iraq and Iran will not corner the world oil market.

You're right! There is no excuse but it's the pattern we've become accustomed to expecting in the last decade or so. It's extremely difficult to NOT feel we've been completely and totally ignored about everything. It's certainly no surprise. We've been silenced. What can we do now?

some of you people just look like fish thrown down on the ground
President Bush stood on a pile of trash and told the whole world that the US is going to war with any and all supporters and participants of terrorism.
He said it will not be easy,,,it will not be quick,,,and it may not be popular,,,but he said that you dont do this to the US
and the people backed him and congress about 95%
He told you in plain , simple English ,,and apparently after all your ranting about his intelligence,,,it's you that are stupid and can't understand what he is saying
