It's the same as the speed of light. Darkness is really not a thing. It is only the absence of light.
(If memory seves me, the speec of light is = c = 3*10^8 m/s.)

There is no limit to the speed of dark.
Dark is not an incident nor a physical quantity there fore by using a bright body and a dark body and using the concept of parallax the speed of the shadow could exceed the speed of light without violating the principal that limits the speed of light.

Scientifically it is only possible to have a reduced amount of light, However this brings up the question: Does Space/Time require the presence of photons to exist? It would seem that the 'classical' definition of 4 dimensions do not include the presence of light, so , if the universe is expanding, that includes, spacetime continuum, and if if the presence of photons isn't needed for it to exist, then one could say that darkness is moving at the current rate of the expansion of the universe, right!
Perhaps you could ask the PhD in astrophysics- who by the way, should know there is no such thing as 'emptiness' in spacetime!

Why is everyone giving negative ratings to everyone who is actually giving true answers. There is no speed of darkness because darkness is nothing. There is only the absence of light. There are no negatives in the world, only having nothing of a positive. Cold = absence of heat.
If you want to tell a joke you are at the wrong website.

Darkness is a nonentity; that is, it is the absence of light. It is not anything, but rather nothing. Therefore, darkness has no attributes: no size, shape, color, physical makeup, velocity, or anything else measureable. So it has no speed.
It's like asking "what is emptiness made of?"
And it is outrageous to imagine that the speed of darkness is the same as the speed of light. Clueless!

the same as the speed of light.
eg. when you turn on the light suppose it takes 0.00000000000000001 micro-seconds, when you turn off the light it will take the exact same time for darkness.

No such thing, darkness is simply the absence of light.
So for most practical applications the "speed of darkness" is equal to the speed of light.

in my opinion, it HAS no speed. it reminds me of an invention i have been working on. they invented the light bulb so you could see in the dark. i want to invent a dark bulb, that you can turn on in the daytime so i can get some sleep. oh well, no good huh.
