If I go to see the Louvre, first of all where is it? And also what pieces of art MUST I see?

The louvre is probably the most comprehensive art museum in the world. It has art that ranges from prehistoric antiquity, to modern works. If you're into modern art, you'd be better off staying in NYC, though. Since the United States hs been the dominant artistic collective since 1945, most of the works at the louvre are from before then.

Most people go to see the mona lisa, but it's overrated. Yes, it's beautiful, but its so crowded there, that they shuffle you past it.

In short, I would definately tell you to go if you could. It is probably (arguably Rome, NYC) the greatest collection of art in the world.

PS- Paris, France.
