you can start with two types of infinity, countable and uncountable.
Countable is like the integers, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc.
No matter what number you think of you can always find a bigger number by adding one .
Uncountable is like decimal fractions .
between 0 and 1 there are an infinite number of numbers because no matter how many decimal places you add , you can always add one more
so .9, .99,.999, .9999 each getting closer to 1 without ever reaching it .
Confusing , isnt it .

There is a mathematical concept of infinity that works just fine,
Then there is the infinity that bothers you.
When an incident occurs it has a beginning and an end.
,like us or the universe.
Before you came into existence there was a finite potential that produced you,When you die you will enter a state of eternal nothing or zero.
With the universe it is the same thing.
Before time zero, nothing existed, but there had to be a potential, the potential had to be finite.
Though there was nothing it had to be finite or it wouldn't have known when to initiate the beginning of the universe, which we know exists.
The universe being finite will one day come to an end.
It will enter a state of eternal nothing because it will never occur again. It-may sound a little ape but think about it.
It may sound a little frightening to think you will go out of existence and never occur again but the alternative is horrendous. What the heck would you be doing in a quadrillion years from now or a quadrillion to the power of a quadrillion,I'm sure you would eventually get bored.

The problem with infinity is that many people (myself included) consider it a number or value that is very very very large because that simplifies the concept and works mathematically.
However, in reality, infinity acts more as a direction. You cannot assign a discrete value to infinity, since there would always be a value larger (or smaller, for that matter). Infinity can be infinitely large, or infinitely small, or infinitely negative. It is simply a direction of where numbers would go if we had the time and patience of counting that high (or low).
So, in space, infinity is just a direction. Infinity is "over there", way past the galaxies and everything. Far, far away. And farther than that. And so on, and so forth.
And as for reality, I think that is something every individual must decide for themeselves. =)

I think you think too much..........Just kidding cause I do the same thing. I have learned to accept things the way they are. Such as you mentioned God. You ask where he came from. I have come to the conclusion that God didn't come from anywhere, He always was. Now think about that. We do not have the ability to understand all things but its fun to wonder right? After all I believe that great minds have come from wondering about answers to what we can't even imagine. I'm not saying I have a great mind at all actually far from it but I feel it has helped me in other aspects of life to wonder about things such as that.

God was created by early humans because they did not understand the universe. By creating God as a supreme Creator, all those questions could be answered by saying "god created it".
Infinity is not "something". It is a concept or idea which describes the fact that some things are endless.

Fascinating and confusing, I totally agree. If I start to think about it too much, I almost get dizzy. Many people have speculated, but no one really has an answer.
After I think about it for a while, I just grab a coffee and turn on the TV or radio to drag myself back to the 'real' world.

I believe that God also made darkmatter. The darkmatter is split in different dimensions in space and time as a filler; like fruit in jello. This I believe to be infinity.

A look at infinity. it is between any two numbers because you can never not divide something. so infinity exists between any two numbers. you divide two = 1
divde 1 = .5
divide .5 = .25
and so on and so forth

think of a googel.. it's a 1 with 100 zeros after it..
a googelplex is a 1 with a googel zeros after it..
now take a googleplex to the googelplex power and multiply that by a googleplex..
that doesn't come close to infinity.. hope this helps! :)

I can conceive of 'infinity' without resorting to math. Infinity is everything there ever was, is now, or ever will be. It's really as simple as that.
