I have dated people from the net before... To be perfectly honest, everybody I've dated has been from the net cause I'm not the type of girl most guys I know in real life care to date (I'm bigger)....but then I met my now husband only to find out as we chatted online that we actually lived 15 minutes away from one another, went to school with some of the same people, yet we never knew of one another. We met on myspace.com of all places.

Personally, I have not. However, I know a number of people that have ended up getting married and staying married. My sister married a guy from Australia that she met on the net several years ago. A co-worker met a guy on Yahoo and they too have remained happily married for some time.
As for me, I've ran across a lot of nut cases and that's about it.

Nope I met my husband on the work extension! Lol its pretty crazy we fell in love and both at the time were in unhappy relationships but the work relationship was not making the company very happy. We didn't really care though we left our exes now and we made each other happy. It was love at first hear!
Now we are happily married and have a baby on the way.

the second time... i met the best man on Earth. It was like the prince and princess story. The relationship ended after 1 year, but we are still greaaat friends.
the third time...i got married. That was the big mistake. I am getting a divorce now.

I'm not with him now, but I met him online. He turned out to be the most wonderful guy I could ever meet on the net. All my friends and famiy made fun of me for looking for someone on the internet because they couldn't understand the need for it, but I was so happy to have found a genuinely good guy. We went out for six months (not including the time we chatted online), unfortunately he was at a place in his career where he needed to move to Texas for a recent promotion, and believe it or not, he asked me to go with him. However, I was just not ready to move in with him and definitely not ready to leave California so we broke up but I will never forget him.

Yup! I met my boyfriend over the Internet. I had just broken up with a guy and wanted to psych myself up by clicking on cute guys online. He actually wasn't the cutest guy I clicked on (turns out his pictures were horrible). We lived in the same town but went to college on separate sides, so we met in the middle for brunch. He was awesome.
Three and a half years later, though long distance relationships and ones close by, and we live together. :) The Internet can be a lovely place some times.
And if you're wondering, I met him on Yahoo!

A few years ago I met a guy in a Yahoo chat room, we fell in love with each other, finally met in person, made wild, passionate love the first night, and are still happily married today. It can happen, just find out exactly what you want in a mate, and don't stop trying till you find that person, and never deviate from your standards.

After my exhole decided he wanted a divorce (after 24 years!!) I went to chat rooms, because I was lonely & my kids were grown.
I met a lot of really fun people, and this one crazy guy, who I couldn't stop thinking about.....
We finally started calling each other, and THAT prompted me to get a cell phone--Sprint-to-Sprint was $5.00 a month. Good thing, because one month we spent over 10,000 minutes on the phone!!
Then we got web-cams...weird, but cool, too. After 6 months of this totally intense relationship, he came to visit me 5 states away--and we really hit it off! (I must say that the first couple hours after meeting were REALLY weird---like having a TV character you really like suddenly come to life......odd!)
He went back home, the talking/camming continued, and he decided to move here to be with me. We lived together for a year, and married last June.
We were both divorced, and feel that we had to live our lives up to the day we met in order for it to work.....
We are so perfect for each other that it scares us.....we are more like OTHER halves than BETTER halves!
But we are SO happy to have each other......

well this isnt my story, its my sister in law's but its a great one... she met this spanish rapper thru myspace and sent hima comment, the guy actually thought she was hittin on him, so he replied back with a flirting tone, and then sudenly they were sending eachothers messages back and forth. They added eachother to their msns and talked over internet, one day they took it to the next kevel and started having phone conversations, two montsh went by and she flyed to her native country but stopped by his country,
They traveled thru the country together and fell in love with eachother so quick that they got married and he actually left his country to keep traveling with her!
They are so happy now they are a really nice couple and a perfect example of how love always finds it way.
