An Ebay person selling a car wants to use his yahoo finance account to have me send money to hold at yahoo finance to complete the transaction.

Yahoo! Finance is a portal for stock market and other financial information and advice -- it does NOT provide escrow services. Anybody selling a car saying Yahoo! Finance would hold the money is scamming you. Stop communicating with them and look for another deal. Since it's an eBay user, report to eBay -- they should use escrow.com, not some other third party (and particularly not an imaginary one like this case)...

Sounds like a scam - I think you will send the money and never see the car.!
