I don't know the name of the episode, but I really like the one where Spock mind melds with a mother rock creature. Leonard Nimoy was going through a terrible time, and shot the episode anyway. "Trouble with Tribbles" and "City on the Edge of Forever" were great, too.

i would have to say its trouble with tribbles, that's the only episode that i really like of the original star trek series
