Is cingulars mobile to mobile free for both the reciever and the caller or does the caller get it for free but the reciever still has to pay even if they have the same service?

It's free for both. I call my sister cross-country on mine all the time and neither one of us pay.
But watch your cingular if you have text messages and AOL IM. Never, never connect your AOL IM to your cell phone. Unless you have a text message plan that gives you an lot of text messages, you will get a 10 cent call EVERY TIME someone sends you an IM if you have that connected. That doesn't sound like a lot, but say if someone sends you the word HI 15 times because you aren't answering, you pay every time they hit the send button.
Trust me. We got screwed out of $200 one month because our old ATT didn't charge for text messages unless we responded to them.
