The answer is that they are not the same coaster, nor are they the same layout twice. Although independent coasters, they were designed to work with one another along the theming of the ride.
As background, it's about the dueling dragons and their battle. If you watch the interplay, you'll see the fire and ice dragon coasters in their battle.
They start off climbing together, then split off. After that one dragon attacks the other (and hence the roll). If you look down while on the ride, you'll see the feet of the other dragon just a few feet away from you.
After that, they charge at each other and both kick up. There's a few more times where they rumble, and run around before finally heading back to their separate caves.
I hope that helps!

Same coaster - two different tracks. And you choose when you board if you want to board fire or ice. Then they look like they will collide a few times - its awesome! Be sure to sit front and center! Enjoy!

I just asked my son (we live in Orlando and he has ridden everything there numerous times). He said that they are both pretty much the same. It is a floorless coaster, so don't wear loose shoes! He thinks the Hulk is more fun, though.
