Will a NTSC DVD recorder, like the Panasoni DVD recorder DMR-ES25, accept composite video input in PAL format?

I have a PAL video tapes & PAL VCR. I want to convert these tapes to NTSC DVDs, by using a NTSC DVD recorder. How to do this without buying a separate PAL to NTSC converter?

You can't without the separate converter in the instance you've suggested. On the other hand, most video capture cards/devices for computers will do both NTSC and PAL so you could record the video onto your hard drive and burn to DVD from there if you have a DVD burner in your computer. You can also edit it up on the computer as well.
